Business Logistics was founded in 1989 and has been in continual and successful operation since.
What is your primary product or service?
Freight transportation and logistics consulting, focusing on cost reduction and freight benchmarking for all types of transportation, both international and domestic. We work to reduce trucking, ocean, and air freight costs in all industries including technology, consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution - virtually anything that moves.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background includes many years of service in the logistics field. Prior to starting Business Logistics I was a unit president at McKesson Corporation, now a Fortune 15 company, specializing in distribution and logistics.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Freight benchmarking is our "secret weapon" when it comes to cost reduction. It is a tool that incorporates data mining to appraise our client's freight rates and charges, allowing us to readily determine where savings opportunities exist.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location although we operate globally.
What type of payments do you accept?
Payments are accepted by check.
Which areas do you service?
Our services are offered on a worldwide basis.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The company is a California C corporation, involving numerous consulting associates and subject specialists.
What are your hours of operation?
7 AM to 5 PM Pacific time, although services are effective 24/7/365.
