How long have you been in business?
I've been in business since 1980
What is your primary product or service?
This is a full service Interior Design firm. We provide a full range of services from paint consultations to full scale remodeling projects and project management. We also help with furniture, window coverings, tile and stone design, etc.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a Real Estate Broker for 24 years but decided I wanted to do something more creative so I went back to school to get an Interior Design degree. I am a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), a CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) with the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and a CID (Certified Interior Designer with the state of California). These certifications require lots of experience and passing very rigorous tests.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have many years of experience with construction related projects and can provide plans for permits and bidding. I have also spent 30 years getting to know the furniture manufacturers so I can can be sure my clients are buying items that will last and be appropriate for their homes. I go to annual trade shows to keep up with what is current.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We only have one location
Which areas do you service?
We service the entire Bay area and will travel to other locations for large projects although often we can complete work in different locations by email, mail and phone.
