Trained at the French Fashion Academy in New York, Elaine worked as a fashion stylist and coordinator for advertising photographers before opening her own business. Elaine Goldman is a creative, skillful dressmaker of extraordinary talent. She has been designing and making clothes for me since 1993 when I brought her some fabric I had been saving for years. She is a treasure in this community. She has also made clothing for others in my family, and has re-designed and repaired garmets for us too. I recommend her to anyone who seeks a true skilled and versatile seamstress to work on any project.

I decided to go with Elaine after calling several alteration shops in the area because she was the only one that understood and communicated well. I had a very delicate Zac Posen designer dress that needed to be taken in about 2 sizes. Elaine offered her expertise and creative innovation to ensure the alterations would not compromise the fabric and overall style. She did a fantastic job!

Where would I be without Elaine! Thanks to her I now have clothes that actually fit properly. I have rather high standards and the quality of her workmanship is superb - everything from bridal alterations to a simple hem.
