How long have you been in business?
Community Solutions was incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in January 1973.
What is your primary product or service?
Behavioral health services for individuals from infancy through older adulthood. Support and resources for survivors of domestic violence/intimate partner abuse, sexual assault and human trafficking. Prevention and intervention services for vulnerable children, youth and their families.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Community Solutions began as a youth drop-in center created by a group of high school students with the goal to help people – especially those younger than themselves – to have pride in themselves and hope for the future. Shortly after opening, the group received a grant to provide mental health services to the community.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Community Solutions approaches client health in a holistic manner, recognizing that immediate life needs must be met before issues of mental health, substance abuse, family violence and/or trauma recovery can be effectively addressed. The diversity of our services allows for a system of care that can be tailored to each individual’s and/or family's unique needs and strengths.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Community Solutions has offices in Gilroy, Morgan Hill, San Jose and Hollister.

From 101 southbound, exit at Leavesley Avenue and turn right. Take your first right onto Murray Avenue. Our office is on the left-hand side about 1/2 mile down Murray immediately before Las Animas Road.
What type of payments do you accept?
Most of our programs are provided at no or low cost. Many programs accept Medi-Cal.
